















Kobe Bryant stardom surpasses not only the basketball world but a global market. For his tenth shoe I wanted to celebrate a career dominated by hard work consistency and excellence. His status as a player around the league even amongst his fellow players has reached living legend. So we thought how better to celebrate someone too big than the world he plays in then to take him in to the atmosphere where his game can truly have no boundaries.
This school project partnered with Nike was to build a cohesive brand language that was carried out in not only the product line but the packaging and advertising as well. I developed a concept for a shoe, water bottle and wearable fitness tracker. By creating a unique bond with the sleek black mamba attitude he's known for and the fast hard edge of his game on the court the product line had a duality of smooth yet aggressive features. While the advertising would focus on asking the great to continue his growth in to the strata of the sport by showing us once more he is the greatest, again.
