This was a visual packaging and branding concept for a boutique hair salon 'The Sea' in Seatlle, Washington. I wanted to use its city's dark ocean front mystique to its advantage, so the graphic is kept as simple as possible. I used a stencil to make black waves close to the bottom with the companies name then left the top clear of clutter as your mind is when you think of the sea. Keeping it clean and concise would lend to the modern interior which was burnt wood and white walls with wrought iron and wood fixtures.
